Are you ready to Pass the Baton for Beams?

RJ Power Group have created a chain challenge to raise money for We are Beams, a local charity that supports disabled children and their families.

The challenge is suitable for everyone of all ages and fitness levels because you can do as much or as little as you want, just remember to Pass the Baton to the next person once you are done!

How to enter the challenge:

1. Get nominated

2. Decide what activity you want to do for Beams (running, swimming, dancing, yoga, walking - you can do any activity)

3. Donate £5

4. Finally pass the baton onto the next person so the challenge can keep going! (please note you can nominate more than one person to carry on the chain)

Feel free to send in your videos or photos of you completing the challenge or posting to your social media to raise awareness of the Pass the Baton challenge.

If you want to enter the challenge but haven’t been nominated, don’t worry you can still enter just start from point 2 and start your own chain!

If you are nominated and do not want to take part, if you can, please still donate £5 and pass the challenge on so the chain doesn’t stop.

This is a strange time for everyone, and charities are particularly suffering as they are unable to hold face to face events that would usually bring in a lot of donations. Due to this there has been a massive rise in chain challenges sweeping social media to continue to help these amazing charities, we really hope you will take part in ours and help out the children and families that need it most.

The RJ Power CSR Strategy focuses on four pillars, one of which being charity and as a business it is important for us to support local charities that devote their efforts to causes close to our hearts. We have chosen to support We are Beams as our charity partner not only because they are physically located in our nearby community, but also because their impact is far and wide and the more we can do to help them, the more children and their families will have the benefit of this wonderful charity and the support that is offered. As a business, we are already discussing practical ways that we can donate our time to support them but to go that step further, we will be undertaking a variety of fundraising activities to support We are Beams with monetary donations which they can use where it is needed most. We appreciate your support in helping us to support We are Beams and thank you for your donations regardless of the size or frequency.
